CCIE Enterprise Device Security by JP Cedeno

This course focuses on the technical implementation and troubleshooting of device security mechanisms on Cisco IOS–based network devices. Participants will gain hands-on experience in securing management access, enforcing authentication and authorization policies, and protecting the control plane against malicious or excessive traffic.

The course covers IOS AAA configuration using a local database, secure device access control for console and VTY lines, and Control Plane Policing (CoPP) to safeguard CPU and critical control traffic. Emphasis is placed on real-world troubleshooting, enabling participants to identify and resolve misconfigurations that could lead to loss of access or service disruption.
