MikroTik switches are very powerful devices on working on Layer 2. Many Data Centers are using MikroTik switches in their environment and have a very high uptime for their customers.
Since RouterOS v7, MikroTik has included a new feature on its switches which is MLAG (Multi-Chassing Link Aggregation Group). This feature is very much used in Switching data center environment allowing 2 or more switches to be seen as a virtual 1 switch. This would help that in case one of the switch goes down, then the network remains connected because the traffic will move to the 2nd switch.
