CCIE SP - Inter-AS MPLS VPN - Carrier Supporting Carrier Lab - Initial + Full Configs

Carrier Supporting Carrier (CsC) MPLS VPN is a specialized Inter-AS MPLS VPN solution that allows a service provider (customer carrier) to use another service provider's (backbone carrier) MPLS network for VPN transport. This approach is commonly used when regional ISPs need global reach without building their own backbone.

CsC relies on MPLS label stacking and BGP-based VPNs to maintain end-to-end traffic separation and scalability. By leveraging MP-BGP, Route Targets, and label switching, CsC ensures that customer ISPs can offer VPN services while relying on a transit provider.

This architecture is crucial for multi-tiered ISP environments, enabling seamless inter-provider MPLS VPNs with optimal routing efficiency.
